Gutter cleaning can prevent damage to your house, extend the life of the gutter and improve the appearance of your house. Gutter cleaning reduces the need for repairs. To avoid blockages and damage to the roof and house, gutters should be cleaned annually.
If your gutters are filled with leaves, branches and other debris, it can block the flow of water and cause the water to overflow. This can eventually lead to moisture damage to the masonry and your house.
Debris in the gutters can accumulate moisture and clog the drain over time. If the gutters are clean and free of blockages, the life of the gutter will be extended and require fewer repairs or replacements.
Your home insurance does not necessarily cover damage caused by poorly maintained gutters. Some insurance companies have as part of their conditions reduced or no compensation for damage caused by filled or broken gutters and downpipes. Therefore, there is extra good reason to make sure that the gutters can properly carry rainwater away.
Professional equipment
You can simply use a ladder, work gloves, a bucket and a shovel designed for this purpose. You can also vacuum the gutters. This requires preparation in the form of having the equipment assembled and set up, and subsequently cleaned.
You can buy a 4-6 meter gutter brush in hardware stores. This is sufficient for the vast majority of ordinary villas. If you need to go higher and want to use an extension, we move up to professional equipment and the price increases significantly.
But you can also just use a ladder. After all, cleaning gutters is only something you need to do every 2-3 years, unless you have a roof that is particularly exposed to falling leaves.

Gutter height
A distinction is made between whether the gutter is under or over 4 meters. The vast majority of ordinary villas have gutters under four meters.
Number of meters of gutter?
With Google Maps you can easily find the total length of gutters. Remember to include gutters on outbuildings, garages, carports, etc. Our price per meter of gutter is 9 DKK incl. VAT.
Should waste be disposed of?
When calculating the price, we also look at whether waste needs to be disposed of. If waste from gutters needs to be collected and disposed of, it is calculated with +10% of the price. If a waste container is available, or it is otherwise possible to get rid of the leaves on the property, it is free of charge.
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Discounts are given for repeated visits. A distinction is made between gutters being cleaned once. Or automatically every year.
